Paul Elia is an art photographer raised in Toronto, but now living in Hamilton. Streetscapes make up most of his portfolio, but they are more than just a collection of photos of some buildings. Paul is able to emote an emotional response to his work. He is interested in the history of the architecture and is able to reflect that to the viewer. Arts on the Credit is pleased to be able to show his work this year.
Paul recently won the Juror’s Choice Award in the Central Ontario Arts Association members show at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. Toronto artists Andy Fabo and Kelly Drennan were chosen to jury the show and select the winners from the 57 artworks in the show. The 3 juror’s choice awards were given to the artists whose work displayed an exceptional level of innovation and technical skill. The show runs until April 27th at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, 123 King Street West, Hamilton. www.artgalleryofhamilton.com
