Jacqueline Raynor

I am an encaustic artist working in a variety of themes and styles. Trees, flowers, hearts and seascapes are some of my favourites. I find the way colour combines with texture endlessly fascinating. My work ranges from realism to abstract with a good dose of whimsy thrown in just for fun. I work on wooden panels (sizes include 6×6, 8×8, 12×12, 6×24, 36×48 inches). I also produce framed pieces painted on glass in a variety of sizes. I studied papermaking, bookbinding and encaustic painting at Ontario College of Art & Design and Toronto Metropolitan University.
