Sarah Nemeth is a fine artist who is joining our art tour for the first time this year. Her current project is inspired by Toronto’s High Park. Her work reflects various images from the park.
Sarah believes that art should be meaningful as well as beautiful, and that there is nothing more meaningful than our own stories. Sarah says the following about her HighPark Project.
“It’s art inspired by life; a celebration of what’s truly great about our community.
It’s about connection: with nature, with our community, with our families and with ourselves.
It’s about fully engaging in a moment, and realizing that no matter how ordinary that moment is, it’s also extraordinary.
It’s about sharing our stories.
And it’s about a love for our park.”
