Jacqueline Neves

I am a self-taught jewellery artist, born and raised in Toronto, living in Port Credit Ontario. I’ve been creating jewellery most of my life and restoring vintage jewellery for over 25 years. I sell my fine sterling silver gemstone jewellery and unique upcycled costume jewellery at fine art shows, shops, and internationally from my website since 2009.

Transformation is the main theme of my work, transforming old into new, negative into positive, pain into beauty. I love to use something broken and discarded to create something beautiful and desirable.

My goal is to create sustainable, eco-friendly jewellery with minimal impact on the environment. My favorite materials are recycled, upcycled and repurposed vintage sterling silver, gemstones, pearls, glass, beads, beach glass, etc., Many pieces are combined or made with new materials, most locally sourced.

My style is eclectic with elaborate beaded, wire-wrapped, and sculptural metalwork designs.  My work is inspired by nature, water and my many years collecting and restoring vintage jewellery. Creating jewellery is part of my healing journey, an expression of my joy, gratitude, hope and faith.
