HAMILTON ARTS AWARDS: The best the city has to offer

Congratulations to Lorraine Roy who has been awarded a Hamilton Arts Award for Fine Craft. We have been honoured to have Lorraine show her wonderful textile work at Arts on the Credit for a few years now.

“Lorraine is a Dundas-based textile artist whose work has a strong narrative component and demonstrates a technical mastery in all her work. She has been exhibited extensively in Ontario, Quebec, the United States and Europe. In 2013, Lorraine was awarded the Artistes visuels et des métiers d’art program from the Ontario Arts Council”, as quoted in the Hamilton Spectator.
