Zoé is a French Canadian born in Quebec who spent her early childhood years growing up in Montreal. Her family later moved to Oakville Ontario where she began hand-painting pottery. Many of her pieces were sold to a trendy boutique in Westmount Quebec before the age of fifteen. She continued her studies at Sheridan College and obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Illustration. Zoé now resides in Burlington Ontario and works full time as an artist. Her oil paintings can be seen at Tag Gallery in St Catharines and Eclipse Gallery in Muskoka.
She primarily works with oil paints and has been known for her rich & bold colors. Her style is more realistic and a little impressionistic at times. She tends to paint somewhat differently with each painting as it not only challenges, but each piece has a unique quality and artistic need that calls to her. It is therefore not unusual to switch back and forth from palette knife to brushwork in a single piece.
